Please enter the PCT application number and the international filing date, and we’ll be able to obtain the necessary documents from the online EPO Register.  However, if you want to make any amendments, please upload an amended specification in MS Word format, with “track changes” indicating how the proposed specification differs from the international application as originally filed.

The costs depend on which ISA  was used (and IPEA, if a Demand under Chapter II was filed) during the international phase, as well as the overall length of the specification (description, claims, abstract and drawings) and the number of claims. If the PCT application has more than 15 claims, it is worth considering asking us to re-draft the specification for EPO compliance as this often costs much less than paying the excess claims fee, and also addresses many of the formal matters, which crop-up later.

The basic price shown above includes the filing fee, the search fee, the examination fee, the designation fee and our professional fee for e-filing, including any e-filing discounts.  If the date of filing is more than 2 years after the PCT filing (not priority) date, then you’ll also need to pay the year 3 maintenance fee; otherwise, this will be payable on the 3rd anniversary of the PCT filing (not priority) date.  The search and examination fee discounts are then applied depending on which ISA/IPEA you select; and the pages and claims fees are added, depending on the number of claims and pages selected using the drop-down boxes.
